BOOKKEEPER / ACCOUNTING CLERK

We are looking for a professional to fill our part-time or full-time Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk accustomed to working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Applicants must be a team player and able to maintain strict confidentiality, be organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.


Our Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk must possess the following knowledge and skill set:

  • Good listener and demonstrate ability to follow directions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is second nature
  • Ability to problem solve difficult and complex accounting challenges
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal direction
  • Must be proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (specifically advanced Excel spreadsheet data manipulation), and demonstrate overall intermediate to advance computer skills
  • Must be able to read and decipher bank statements, merchant processing statements, and accounting reports and ledgers
  • A leader who recognizes deficiencies and opportunities to improve existing processes or controls for the company's benefit.

Specific job duties will include but not limited to:

  • Data entry in company's accounting system
  • General Ledger Accounting
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, and Invoice Management
  • Payroll Processing
  • Month End Closure
  • Coordinate Asset Recording
  • Work with company CPA on asset management, quarterly, and annual tax preparation
  • Generate ad hoc reports as needed for management and special projects
  • Produce supporting documentation and reports as needed by banks and lenders
  • Support rest of the organization wherever needed regardless of duties

Education / Experience: Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance plus a minimum of 2 years practical working experience, or 5+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

Customer Sales Representative

The Customer Sales Representative is primarily responsible for assisting customers with all aspects related to reservations. Additional duties, but is not limited to, various internal projects, filing, administrative/clerical duties, and assignments as assigned by management.

Dispatcher

The Dispatcher is responsible for setting the chauffeurs schedule of work, monitoring all reservations in livery software system, updating logs/documentation as required, answering telephones, and other duties as assigned by management.

Dispatchers must possess the following abilities:

  • Maintain chauffeurs daily schedule of assigned work with State and Federal regulations
  • Must be able to analyze multiple details to come to a decision/solution and prioritize assignments based on information available
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self starter/Minimal direction required
  • Comprehend detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to listen and retain information provided through multiple communication channels
  • Able to deal with client problems in a calm demeanor
  • Establish rapport with chauffeurs and effectively manage their schedules in conjunction with their pre-assigned work
  • Assist Fleet Manager with managing vehicle preparedness and availability
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Sales Representatives to meet all customer needs/requirements
  • Abide by company policies and procedures as it relates to, but not limited to, fleet, scheduling, vehicle maintenance, and reservations.
  • Investigate service incidents and provide recommended solution to satisfy customer
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to multitask in a fast paced environment

Lot Technician

High service transportation company is looking for mechanically inclined candidate to maintain our fleet, building, and grounds. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a combined skill set of basic auto mechanics, general mechanical abilities, and basic detailing skills with a desire for learning. If you have the ability to multi-task, attention to detail, takes pride in your work, likes diversity in your work assignments, and enjoy working in a professional environment then you will really like this position!


Physical and Skilled Requirements:

  • Position requires regularly handling manual and power tools, and motorized equipment in safe manner.
  • Involves frequent periods of standing and walking, which may include climbing ladders and staircases.
  • Work involves stretching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning and reaching; bending at the waist.
  • Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Work Indoor/outdoor work environment with exposure to weather extremes.

Candidate must possess:

  • Valid driver's license and current MVR (no major citations as candidate will have to occasionally drive vehicles for maintenance purposes).
  • Have reliable means of getting to work.
  • Basic communication skills for reading and writing.

  • Ability to manage detail supplies ordering and inventory.


BUILDING MAINTENANCE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Building maintenance duties and responsibilities will entail performing or coordinating routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures of building. Performs variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining and repairing the building.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection, construction, installation, and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior and grounds.
  • Custodial duties as required.
  • Performs warehouse duties in connection with receiving, storage and distribution of materials as follows:
    • Receives warehouse goods and materials and checks them against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure correctness of merchandise and proper condition.
    • Maintains warehouse and shelving in clean and orderly conditions.
  • General grounds maintenance by performing general grounds keeping on a daily basis; inspect outside areas, general cleanup and maintenance, ensure areas are kept clean and in a safe condition.
  • May be required to maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Perform daily safety inspections throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and to eliminate all hazards.
  • Snow Removal (must report within 8 hours of first snowfall >= one (1) inch including unscheduled work days).


FLEET DETAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fleet detail duties require keeping our fleet immaculate for our high end clients.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to move vehicles in a safe manner in tight surroundings.
  • Cleaning and prepping vehicles to be showroom presentable.
  • Inspecting and reporting damage on return of vehicles.
  • Documenting vehicle maintenance records electronically and vehicle files.
  • Checking of vehicle fluids and basic mechanical condition inspection and repair.


Must be available to work between the hours of 7am and 2am Sunday-Saturday. Occasional schedule flexibility required which may include off-shift hours and weekend assignments. Specific schedule to be worked out with candidate. Hours required are 35-40 hours per week.
